Born on February 21, 1987, in Halifax (Canada), Ellen Page was only ten years old when she made her debut in front of the camera, in the TV movie Pit Pony, where her performance earned her a nomination for the Gemini Awards for Best Actress. 
 
An award that she will obtain, subsequently, twice, for her roles in the ReGenesis series, as well as in the television movie Mrs Ashboro’s Cat.
