Aishwarya Rai is one of the most famous models in the world, a Bollywood star and former Miss World.

Born on November 1, 1973, in Mangalore, India, Aishwarya Rai was born in a modest environment, between an officer father and a mother who was a French teacher. So, as a teenager, she had to work part-time as a model to be able to pay for her architecture lessons in Bombay. But what should only be a small job will become a real passion.

In 1994, Aishwarya Rai won the coveted title of Miss World and became famous internationally. In her country, she is a real star, the muse of many brands, and multiplying the covers of magazines.

With so much success, the step towards the wonderful world of cinema is not difficult to take! And there again Aishwarya will become the star of Bollywood. After the first role in Iruvar, in which she is popular, the pretty Indian goes on filming and rewards.

Since April 20, 2007, Aishwarya Rai has been married to another Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan.
